1. Main Application

The flat car is used for installing rail welding machine containers. The flat car should comply with the relevant national standards and requirements for railway vehicles.

3. Basic Structure

The vehicle is mainly composed of a chassis, two bogies and a hand brake device, a coupler and draft gear, a drive mechanism, a hydraulic outrigger device, a cab, a braking system, etc.


3.1 Chassis

The chassis is a full steel welded structure, which is welded together by end beams, middle beams, side beams, bolster beams, central large cross beams, large and small cross beams and auxiliary beams. The middle beam is made of two H630×200×13×20 structural steels in the shape of a fish belly, with 10mm thick upper and lower cover plates welded together to form a box structure. The side beam is made of a single H600×200×11×17 structural steel cut into a fish belly. The chassis is provided with a central large crossbeam and an I-shaped large crossbeam. A longitudinal auxiliary beam is arranged between the middle beam and the side beam, a rope bolt is arranged on the end beam, and a column plug and a rope bolt are arranged on the side beam. It adopts a forged steel upper center plate with a diameter of 358mm and front and rear follower plate seats made of C-grade cast steel. The front and rear follower plate seats and the middle beam are connected by special rivets that meet the requirements of Document No. 397 on Transport and Loading Trucks (2005). The chassis is covered with patterned iron flooring with a thickness of not less than 6mm.


3.2  Bogie

The welded frame bogie is mainly composed of frame,driving wheelset,RE2B type wheelset, side bearings, axle box spring device,foundation brake rigging and  drive mechanism suspension device. The frame is welded from a box-type center plate beam and side beams. A truck center plate with a diameter of 375mm is adopted, and an oil-containing nylon center plate wear plate is arranged in the truck center plate.353130B type or other compact double-row tapered roller bearings approved by the Ministry of Railways and matching front cover and rear stop, RE2 type 50 steel axle and HEZB light cast steel or HESA light rolled steel wheels with LM abraded tread are installed. K4 type constant contact rubber elastic side bearings are adopted.


3.3 Coupler and Draft Gear

Use E-grade steel Type 17 interlocking couplers or new type couplers that meet the requirements of Document No. 215 of Transport Trucks [2004], Type 17 forged coupler yoke, alloy steel coupler yoke key, and MT-2 buffers that meet the requirements of Document No. 78 of Transport Trucks [2005], and use oil-containing nylon coupler yoke support wear plates that meet the requirements of Document No. 371 of Transport Trucks [2004].


3.4 Braking Device

It adopts JZ-7 type brake small gate + 120 valve brake system. 3.5 Driving Mechanism

The driving mechanism adopts a three-stage gear transmission and a shaft-clamping gearbox. The last stage can be disengaged and engaged. The driving motor adopts a ZQ-32-1 DC traction motor.


3.6 Hydraulic Outrigger Device

Four outrigger cylinders are installed on the flat car chassis. The cylinders are flange-connected cylinders with a specification of Φ110/Φ80mm and a stroke of 260mm, and are locked with hydraulic locks.


3.7 Cab

The front end of the rail welding car is equipped with a cab, and the vehicle start, stop and speed are all controlled in the cab.


3.8 Painting Requirements

3.8.1 The outer surfaces of the flat car body, brake system and its accessories are coated with water-based anti-corrosion paint. The topcoat color complies with the requirements of GSB05-1426-2001.

3.8.2 Unless otherwise specified, anti-rustcshall be applied between the mating surfaces of non-friction pairs metal parts on the car body.

3.8.3 Except for the specified parts, the surfaces of the steel castings, wheelsets, center plates, couplers and coupler yokes in the bogies are painted with alkyd resin paint, among which the top surface of the side frame guide frame, the inner and outer surfaces of the wheel rims, and the working surfaces in contact with the center plates and wear plates are not painted.

3.8.4 The rest shall be implemented in accordance with TB/T2879.4 and relevant regulations.

3.8.5 The marking shall comply with the product drawings and the requirements of TB/T1 and TB/T2435.
