1. Equipment Features and Uses

The Road and Railway Dual-purpose Rail Welding Vehicle is the latest product developed by our company. It has the characteristics of high degree of automation, autonomous operation, coupling and traction, high comprehensive operating efficiency, high reliability, and my country's independent intellectual property rights. It can meet the needs of mobile welding construction operations on standard gauge railway lines. It meets the requirements of rail welding construction on standard gauge lines and is equipped with rail welding equipment to realize mobile rail welding construction operations on the line.

2. Equipment Composition

The Road and Railway Dual-purpose Rail Welding Vehicle adopts two running modes: tire type and steel wheel type. Both the tire type and the rail-crossing type adopt tire drive mode. The vehicle is mainly composed of a truck chassis, a subframe, a rail-crossing running system, a support and transverse movement system, a hydraulic system, an electronic control system, accessories, etc.

2.1 Truck Chassis

The truck chassis mainly adopts the China National Heavy Duty Truck 6X4 truck chassis and the chassis model is ZZ1257V5847B1. The fuel type is diesel, and the tires are 11.00R20 pneumatic tires for the front wheels and 12.00-20 rubber solid tires for the rear wheels. The engine used is WP12.380E22 engine with 380 horsepower. The gearbox adopts Sinotruk HW19710 and the cab adopts HW76.

2.2 Steel Wheel Running System

The front and rear of the vehicle are supported by a single axle. The axle is supported by the guide frame axle box spring support system. The wheel axle is rotated through the gap between the axle box and the guide frame, thereby steering the vehicle. It is connected to the frame by bolts and raised and lowered by the action of the cylinder. The wheel axle system bearings adopt China Railway Bearing 197726 type. It is a maintenance-free bearing.

2.3 Transverse Support System

The Transverse Support System  is mainly used to facilitate the vehicle to get on and off the railway track bed, and to fix the vehicle when welding rails. The principle it adopts is the crab-shaped transverse movement. It has three groups of cylinders, two for support and one for transverse movement. The oil source for the oil cylinder is a hydraulic system, which is driven by a power take-off on a car transmission connected to a gear hydraulic pump, and the oil cylinder movement is controlled by remote control.


3. Operation Mode

The operation of the vehicle's running part is all performed in the cab, and its operations mainly include vehicle driving, tire steering, and speed control. The lifting and lateral movement of the oil cylinder is operated by remote control, and the movement of the oil cylinder is operated by remote control.
