1. Overview

1.1 Purpose

The unit is used for standard track whose gauge is 1435mm. This machine is suitable for the new railway construction. This unit is applicable to all standard track panels for new railway line construction and reformation of old lines at speed 200km/h or below (including the 75kg/m, 25m-length common concrete track panels of extra heavy type), and pavement of wide sleeper track panels. The inverted gantry applies to inverting 25m track panels and lifting T-shape reinforced concrete girders with a span of 32m or below.


1.2 The main features

a) The track-laying machine host and the big arm of the unit adopt sectional combination. Host and big arm are connected with high - strength bolt. No. 2 platform wagon is made of two 13 meters long rolling stocks which are connected through the coupler. All parts of the unit which is disassembled can be transported by road, railway or waterway. All components achieve the condition for normal use after being assembled and debugged at the construction sites.

b) The motor platform wagon of track-laying machine reloads 6 layers of common light or heavy type of standard track panels at one time, with the host and relevant structures of inverted gantry providing ancillary support for it. The whole working procedure of paving operation can be completed, and continuous operation can be performed.

c) Besides reloading the track skeleton, the inverted gantry also has (or combines) the function T girder reloading.

d) The leading bogie of the host has five axes, with the trailing bogie having four axes.

e) The host, motor platform wagon and inverted gantry of the Track-laying unit all carry a dynamical system. The host and the motor platform wagon can be self-propelled and driven, adopting DC dynamo drive;

f) The brake adopts a tiny brake of locomotive JZ-7 plus 120-valve air braking system.

g) The Chinese standard is adopted for manufacturing. Other technical specifications except this one meet with the “Railway Track-laying Machine” GB/T 25339-2010.

h) For outdoor use, the lighting equipment meets the requirement for night construction.
