2. Main Application
The PD30 rail flat car is a low-flat car designed for urban subway construction and transportation equipment. It is pulled by a rail car or a locomotive or other power vehicles to transport steel rails,track panels, sleepers, various equipment, and materials for urban subway construction units. Large and medium-sized industrial and mining enterprises, forests, local railways, etc. can also use it as a means of transportation.
3. Structural Features
The PD30 rail flat car is mainly composed of a chassis, coupler connection devices (one and two positions), wind and hand brake devices, bogies, end walls, floor systems, etc.
3.1 Chassis Composition
The chassis consists of center beams, side beams, corbels, end beams, large and small cross beams, and longitudinal auxiliary beams. The middle beam is a fish-belly box girder composed of two 30a-shaped I-beams. Several partitions are installed between the two I-beams to ensure the stability of the center beam during load-bearing and traction. The side beams are made of 18a type channel steel. The corbel is composed of upper and lower cover plates with a thickness of 10mm and double webs with a thickness of 6mm and is welded into a closed box-shaped beam, which connects the center beams and the side beams. The end beam is made of 12mm thick steel plates. The large cross beam is arranged between the corbels, and is composed of upper and lower cover plates with a thickness of 8mm and a web plate with a thickness of 6mm which are welded into an I-shaped cross-section beam. The small beams are made of No. 10 channel steel. The longitudinal auxiliary beams are made of No. 10 channel steel, and the floor is fixed on the longitudinal auxiliary beams with clamps and bolts.
3.2 Coupler Connection Device
One coupler connection device adopts No. 13 coupler. The height of the coupler is 880mm. The two positions are connected by a drawbar.
3.3 Air Braking Device
The pressure of the brake main pipe of the air brake device meets the pressure requirements of 500KPa and 500KPa. It consists of 120 control valve, 12-inch brake cylinder (305X254), 50-liter auxiliary air cylinder, combined dust collector, angle cock, ball core cock,and other components. The pipe fittings are all made of stainless steel seamless steel pipes. Equipped with empty and heavy adjustment devices.The handbrake adopts a folding chain brake for braking.
4. Bogie
The bogie adopts a welded three-piece bogie, which belongs to the bogie with a center plate bearing and a non-shaking table. It is mainly composed of center plate beam, side beam, spring group, wheel set, basic brake, etc. Spring groups are arranged on the side beams. The center plate beam moves up and down through the guide grooves on the side beams and is damped by springs. The wheels are small wheels with a diameter of 630mm, and the bearings are tapered roller bearings.
5. Floor System
The base frame is first welded with 6mm thick patterned steel plates, and then laid with 70mm thick wooden flooring. The floor is fixed to the longitudinal auxiliary beams with floor clamps and bolts. The edges around the floor are wrapped with floor battens. The floor battens are made of 40-degree angle steel. Bolts are used to fix the battened floor to the side beams to strengthen the connection and prevent the floor edges from cracking. , wear and scratches.
